Animal Haven- Where the Animal Lovers Go

Animal Haven is a 10 acre farm sanctuary located on Grassy Branch Rd. in East Asheville. When I moved to Asheville in 2003 this was the first place I decided to voluteer because of the wonderful people I met while wandering through the Animal Haven Thirft Shop. As it turns out there was a whole world outside of the little thrift shop through which I first discovered Animal Haven.
The shop now resides on the farm and allows patrons not only to find good buys, but to visit with the animals they are ultimately helping. On the farm, you will find an array of animals. From the 15 cats who will sporadically join you while your browsing through the shop to the 30 pot-bellied pigs sun bathing outside, everyone is welcome here!
